Hello, we are honored to welcome you to our church St.Monica Catholic- Njiru Parish. The church got blessings on the 29th of August,2010 by HIS EMINENCE JOHN CARDINAL NJUE in the 5th year of the reign of POPE BENEDICT XVI

The church runs a learning institution for children between the kindergarten and primary school age under the 8-4-4 system. We offer Baby class, Nursery, Pre-Unit, Class 1-8 curriculum.

We also have a tertiary computer Institute with a well-equipped laboratory for individuals willing to master computing.We are humbled to welcome everyone in our institution.

St Monica's Church History

Fr. Grogan of Queen of Apostles in Ruaraka started visiting Njiru in 1970s. A timber and iron sheet chapel was built near the East Africa Leather Company in 1984, with increasing number of Christians, the chapel was moved to a rented room near Kibendi Nursery School. The chairman was Mr. Jospeh Mbai. The chapel upgraded to a church status in 1986. Mr. Njoroge became the chairman 1978- 1993.
